On the afternoon of June 14, our delegation, including Dean Wang Shiyong, Vice Dean Ding Cheng, Professor Li Qingli, Associate Professor Li Kai, Associate Professor Dang Qiong, and Lecturer Su Qi, was invited to visit the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi to discuss and exchange cooperation opportunities.

Our delegation engaged in discussions with Dean Phan Van Kien and other faculty members of the School of Journalism and Communication at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities around the following topics:

First, Course Recognition: Both parties have translated and reviewed each other’s curriculum to explore specific methods for course recognition. The goal is to facilitate mutual recognition of credits and course transfers between the two universities, ensuring consistency in educational quality and academic standards.

Second, Student Exchange: Students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will visit Guangxi University in July for a short-term exchange program.

Third, Faculty Exchange: Both parties will promote a faculty exchange program, regularly sending outstanding faculty members to teach and conduct research at each other’s institutions or online. Through faculty exchange, both sides can share educational resources, learn from each other's teaching methods and research approaches, and improve teaching quality and research levels.

Forth, Joint Research: Both parties plan to conduct joint research in the field of journalism and communication and co-author high-level academic papers. Through collaborative research and joint publication, both institutions aim to enhance their influence in the international academic community and facilitate the sharing and dissemination of academic achievements.

Fifth, Co-hosting International Conferences: Both parties plan to jointly host international academic conferences, seminars, and lectures, inviting experts and scholars to participate and discuss cutting-edge issues in the field of journalism and communication.

Sixth, Joint Training of Graduate Students: Both parties plan to carry out joint training programs for graduate students, providing them with opportunities to receive more diverse and international education, thereby enhancing their academic level and career competitiveness.

The purpose of this exchange is to deepen cooperation through consultation, promote the mutual development of both institutions in the field of journalism and communication, achieve mutual benefits, and enhance the international status and influence of both universities.
